Greetings!

Today I have for you a very cool map: a frosty lake. This is the first snow map I make and I had a lot of fun drawing it!

One of the ideas I had with this one is to put the party in peril by having them walk on thin ice, perhaps on a snow storm so it hinders their visibility. When the ice inevitable cracks, bring out the map and separate the group on the platforms, this way you can have their enemies easily surround them. After that, they'll have to be very careful not to fall when jumping from platform to platform, else they might end up taking additional cold damage.

You can also  make use of the ice floating on the lake by using frost-resistant monsters that can dive into the cold water below and jump out to the platforms and try to gain the combat advantage that way. 

Oh, and I think you can also use a boss monster here as well. Maybe some sort of Ice Hydra would work wonders against a party eager for their next challenge. I've attached a variant without the platforms too!
