As retold by a bard, many years later:

"I remember how I beheld in horror the sight of the mighty behemoth approaching from beyond the horizon: how he advanced with such casual stride across the countryside and finally into the perimeter of our great city. His approach was felt even by those who cowered in their cellars, for every footstep shook the earth and every structure built atop it, which all deformed like soft sand beneath his mountainous soles.

Finally we beheld mighty Jupiter as he towered above us, each man and woman forced to reckon with the simple fact of their insignificance in the eyes of a disinterested titan. Yea, even though each stride of the God brought a swift end to the vast swaths of Rome that fell under his shadow, none thought even for a moment that the cries of the populace were more than faint whispers in his ears.

It's as though we were but ants to the giant, who if he noticed Rome at all, surely thought of us as such. And like ants whose small dome of dirt has been upended by an errant toe, we ran through the streets in chaos as the city crumbled around us, hoping to dodge the indiscriminate footfall of the titan as he made his way to lands beyond."

Sorry for the delay on these, y'all. Same technical issues as the last scene, so I'm glad to be done with these, but I also realized the texture on Jupiter didn't really work on his feet, so I made new version with a more Mediterranean skin tone. I've included the alts with the original texture for anyone who prefers the visual continuity.
