Hey dude! Question for ya. I don’t know where to post this so you’ll see it but I figure you’re the only person who may know this... When I use vector rotate in a cycles material displacement. Why is it that when I rotate the vector, the normals get all messed up? They start turning black and grey and the smooth shading is ruined. I imagine I have to also rotate the normal of the faces, but I can’t figure it out. This doesn’t happen when you displace with location or scale. Only rotation. Which is why I assume it’s a normal issue. Thanks in advance man.

I remember having problems like this (where vector rotation messed up the displacement). I think the solution was either a) using standard object rotation if possible (if it's a uniform rotation) or b) applying rotation or something with ctrl+a

That is way easier than it used to be! Also, if you want to 3D print it, it's actually an STL file. Basically the same thing but you know, thought you might find that interesting.
