Could you explain again why we're using UV Texture Coordinates here? When to use what coordinate space is something that I'm still wrapping my head around this nodevember...

benefits of uv coordinates is that they 'stick' to the mesh (If I deform using edit mode the material will move with it) and any object can have a uv unwrap. If we're just applying this material to the ground (like a plane) it wouldn't really matter if it's uv vs generated. (I just knew I'd be applying it on a sphere later)
