As we were gearing up for the Reveal Trailer, we took many screenshots of the game for promotional content (the website, the Steam storefront, the Press Kit, etc). With the number of screenshots taken, there were bound to be many that didn't get picked - eighteen, in fact. While we are still saving some, here are six that didn't make the cut.

Some of these may have popped up around the web or in our Discord server, and some of them are very similar to the versions that did make the cut!

This screenshot was taken at a very shallow field of view, so everything looks flatter and we felt Stuffy's body looked awkward- especially in this particular frame. There are screenshots taken just moment's later that were less awkward and dimly-lit, so we favored those instead!

We scrapped this in favor of a screenshot that better highlights Stuffy pushing the crate! We added more light to the scene and recaptured it.

We made a lot of dramatic moon shots showing Bearnana, but there was no use for this one.

Stuffy's swinging was in an even cruder state in the build we recorded trailer footage from, so it took several tries to make the mechanic look the way we liked. This one wasn't a favorite, because it looks like they'd struggle to cross the gap with such little momentum!

This scene originally had a pushable block in it, but we thought it might be nice to show Stuffy's fluid animation blending. In this case, Stuffy is seen skidding as they make a quick running turn to the other direction. We felt this looked odd, so we stuck with the block push version.

This takes place right before a swinging section. Because most of the level is blank to the left and right of the frame, we went with the version that was taken a few moments later so we could highlight Stuffy's swinging mechanic and show more of the level design for visual interest.

There's an identical version of this screenshot out there! The only difference is the lighting. We wanted to balance the scene so the lighting draws your eye to Stuffy and the threadable styrofoam block more. As such, this version was scrapped in favor of the other.
