Getting each page of Cpt. Stuffy out every month isn't as easy of a process as you may think. There are several steps and three people each page goes through in order to get from concept to product. The first step is for the comic's writer Billy Anderson to write the direction and dialogue of each page and individual cell. From there, our artist Ari creates a rough test strip, before completing the line work. Ari then used to color in the pages after feedback from the team, but that part has now been taken over by Carter.

These test strips allow us to get a feel for each page before they're fully committed. While these may look almost identical to the final pages - you may also be able to notice a few changes! You may also notice that some of these test strips are high quality, whereas some are low. That's to save time with the rendering process, as these are only meant to give an idea of the final result. The images below are taken directly from the Restitched development server.

The test strips from the first two pages have previously been released in 'Restitched: Dev Diary | Crafting Cpt. Stuffy', but here they are with pages 3-10 also - from the vault!
