Community Feedback | Lighting Objects (Patreon)

We're looking to add more Props that can provide light! However, we could use your help to decide on what works best...

Some of the lighting items you can find in the game already include:

• Kerosene Lantern

• Mounted Spotlight

• Portable Construction Light

• Basic Spotlight

• Dome Light

• Neon Sign

Some of these are only Props, but can be paired with invisible light sources to create the illusion of light (like in a game engine!), while others are Hardware objects that directly cast light.

We're still considering the idea of casting light from every light object, then moving them into the same section in the Hardware chapter of the Craftbook. However, objects that cast light directly cannot be turned into an Ornament.
