Before starting we need to set the path to Dying Light 2:
- Hit the "Settings" button on the Main Menu
- Press "Set Path" to point the application to the Dying Light 2 Root folder
- Don't know what the DL2 root folder is? No worries, use Steam or Epic games
- Right click the game in Steam or Epic and hit "manage", try to find "Browse to Folder". This is the Root path.
Changelog:
- A complete refactor of the output data for the built creations you come up with. Previously a large number of models were not properly binding to the skeletons when importing into the game, this latest version should allow Dying Light 2 to utilize a drastically increased amount of items. This now included 4 new fallback systems that attempt to give as much flexibility for the player and NPCs.
- A refactor for the data creation for the application, now you can update the application to the latest version of Dying Light 2 immediately when an update comes out using the new Main Menu > Settings > Update Data and Rebuild Jsons. This should only need to be done once every update to ensure you have the latest data from the game.
- With that refactor comes a new Main menu, where you can once again select between the Model Viewer and the Character Designer. I've gotten started on some new setting but most of those are early tier.
0.3a Hotfix:
- Added a start panel for first time users to help set the path to Dying Light 2 immediately. You don't have to do this but it's required to save your creations.
- Added a Update popup that will show if the Dying Light 2 game is updated, you can use the Update button to automatically update your Infinity Designers data.
- Removed additional Settings information for now until hooked up. - Added a new error reporting system that should show you a popup if you hit an error.
- New hotkeys when setting the sliders in Character Designer:
1, 2 - Toggles through the different points on the skeleton starting from Upper Spine, to Head, then hands, legs. **(Restored)**
Up/Down Arrows - Go through the list of sliders
Left/Right - Adds or removes the values on the sliders
0 - Removes all items on the current Slider
