"...It's finally over" Jill Valentine, 1998.
All the masks of the lab are ready, which means that all the mask of the game have been fixed at last! This was one of the most laborious parts of this mod, with this out of the way there will be most interesting updates ahead. Time to work in the items, FMV's and some minor fixes ont the sfx departament (background noises, reaction tunes etc).
This month was pretty crazy, I didnt work due to the lockdown in my country but having two kids at home (8 & 12 YO) and a nurse as a wife in a time like this is pretty much like a work. Kids are allright just need to help them with theyr homework and keep them entertained and my wife as I said is a nurse and is a nerve breaking time for them so I try to help her the most I can, fortunely my country took took precautions and started the lockdown when the first cases apeared, thanks to that, our numbers are not that big but whe are not at our estimated peak yet. I asked my wife to quit her job if things gets ugly, not just for her safety, all his family is in the groups of higher risk (Grandma has cancer, her mom and dad are over 65, his brother has diavetes and his lil sister has asthma) and also our little one also has respiratory problems and looking how badly the goverment is handling the protection resources for health workers its just not worth to keep that job.
So guys i'm asking you, if you could help me sharing my stuff around and linking my patreon. Not planning for this to be my main income of curse but if things gets ugly it will help me a lot. I will update my main page later to showcase my latest mods.

In other news! Got a big breakthrough on the Resident Evil 3 (orignal) modding so I will be making some skins for that in the near future. Planing on taking advantage of the big selection of alternative outfits to recreate everyone of jill outfits from all the versions of RE1 (and others RE games)
Also this month there will be a preview of the Deadly Silence model pack with all the members of the STARS alpha team.
Also sorry for the delay, this was supposed the be posted the last friday but my ISP sucks and did not had internet all weekend!
As always you will need the Mediakite Release of Resident Evil for PC and the Classic REbirth patch for the Game Boy conversion mod to work.
Whats new?
- Masks: The whole game now has working masks.
- Backgrounds: Some background had been retouched to fix some minor issues.
- Textures: Some objects like pillars and moving walls have new UV and textures to blend bettere with the backgrounds.
- Doors: Some more doors with pixelated texture.
- Files: Some files background now have a pixelated look.
Installation:
- Download the .7z file from the link I sent.
- Extract the .7z in the game folder. You should end up with a folder called mod_Gameboy in the game folder.
- Inside the mod_Gameboy folder you will find a folder called "Movies" copy this folder and paste it in the game folder and replace the files if necesary.
- Run the game and select the mod from the mod list like in the picture. You need to select the one that say [DEV] at the beginning.
- I recommend playing the game using the retro mode of Classic REbirth for a fully pixelated experience.
If you have any doubt or find any bug post them in the comments so I can fix it for the next build.
