RE: Game Boy Conversion MOD - New build 0.9.2 (Patreon)
Content
Another step closer to completing the masks, just the the laboratory is left!
This build doesnt bring anything new to the table I just tryed to focus mainly in the masks so I can spend some time working in the Classic Costume Pack Volume 5 fo RE Remake (you ca see some advances of that here and here), but ended editing with some boundaries, espeacialy with Jill's dining room to delete the table boundary and fix the zones where the camera change but after getting all in the right place the program crashed and messed my files, I did made a back up of the boundary data but it messes the room files when I load it so i will have to replicate it by eye.
In other words the invisible table is still there it will proabbly fixed by the next build (Chris's camera problems in the dining room will also be fixed).
Finally in the next days you will be able to test Forest from RE Deadly Silence, I have been extracting some assets from REDS like item icons and character mugshots to add them to the mod whe I put thogether some of that I will post it here.
Also at some moment in this month I will post the first version of Jill's (and proabably Rebecca) Deadly Silence costume so you can test it.
As always you will need the Mediakite Release of Resident Evil for PC and the Classic REbirth patch for this mod to work.
Whats new?
- Masks: The whole cave zone now has working masks.
- Backgrounds: Some background had been retouched to fix some minor issues.
- Textures: Some objects like statues and moving walls have new textures to blend bettere with the backgrounds.
- Boundaries: Some rooms had the boundaries edited to make them fit the background.
Installation:
- Download the .7z file from the link I sent.
- Extract the .7z in the game folder. You should end up with a folder called mod_Gameboy in the game folder.
- Inside the mod_Gameboy folder you will find a folder called "Movies" copy this folder and paste it in the game folder and replace the files if necesary.
- Run the game and select the mod from the mod list like in the picture. You need to select the one that say [DEV] at the beginning.
- I recommend playing the game using the retro mode of Classic REbirth for a fully pixelated experience.
If you have any doubt or find any bug post them in the comments so I can fix it for the next build.
As always thanks for your support! It really helps me a lot!
