loved your reaction! jinx is severely traumatized and shows very clear symptoms of ptsd and unchecked bpd. imo the creators did an amazing job at depicting her disorders, her mind is fractured and she's completely lost it after the events of act 1. the environment she grew up in only allowed for her mental illness to feed on her and spiral uncontrollably. poor girl really just needs a therapist :(( another thing: since you seemed to be confused about why vi is in prison, remember who pulled her away when she tried to go back for powder? i think marcus genuinely wanted to save her from being killed by silco, but the council still needed a culprit for what happened in episode 1.
