First update of 2023! (Patreon)

Happy new year, everyone!

Hope you all are getting off to a productive start. Or, you know, carrying on since time is a construct and self improvement should be an ongoing process unbound from the traditions of the construct. Anyway!

A lot to catch up on here. We’ve been out of commission for a little bit for various reasons. Reason number one is a reason we all wish we could just stop hearing about already, which is covid. It hit hard this time. Like one of those terrifying movie characters who nearly kills you, then says “I’m letting you live, but only so you can tell my tale.” So yeah, covid is still no joke. Stay safe and do your best to keep others safe. Never forget the apparently immortal words of Creepio. 

Reason two is Craven had to move his studio. Moving is already enough of a headache without a studio involving more pieces of gear than total shirts we own. It’s all good though because we’ve been doing what we can to move forward on some projects.

We’ve talked a lot in the past about focusing on something original and it’s about to become more than just talk. Our usual style of remixing other people's work is getting trickier and trickier with the constant changes to YT, and we put too much time and effort into those projects to leave it all in the hands of the algorithm. For this and other reasons we have decided to put plans for Episode 8 and 9 on hold while we focus on making content we fully own as well as smaller scaled overdubs and music projects. We know it’s not what anyone wants to hear, but we also know some of you are supporters purely because you want those episodes. We want to make sure we’re doing the right thing by telling you our intentions so you don’t keep supporting us when you may not be getting what you expect from us. We’re not saying the episodes are dead. We have a full story fleshed out for both episodes and we can always come back with a fresh perspective.

If you are a fan of our comedy, our music and our general aesthetic, then know we will continue to deliver those things. Our overall goal has always been to make the viewer feel a little more positive about the world, and we hope you stay with us while we continue to work toward that goal. We’ve got some things baking in the oven right now so stay tuned for more info on those in the very near future!
