Ok guys, the functional lightsaber drama might come to an end :) Soon i will release a new lightsaber chasis design that will fit the new lightsaber electronics from aliexpress. 

First - if anyone has NEW ALIEXPRESS ELECTRONICS - and wishes to do a test print, please drop me a message, so i can send you the test print stl file.

In the photos you can see what the test print piece looks like - I need you to help me test if the tolerances are good on your electronics as well the button/mount positions.

- have an m3 nut and m3 screw - that one is optional, we can do the test without it as well :)

So to explain it all - as you might know, aliexpress f****d us over and started "updating" the lightsaber electronics without telling anyone so people just got random electronics. But no worries, I said I was gonna try and fix that for you, and make my lightsaber models compatible with the new ones as well, so i am almost done with that :)

The new electronics just use a front cutout for the ignition button, and a back cutout for the screw to  lock the electronics inside and push the ignition button forward.

I did the test myself on my electronics, and another member already did a test as well, but just in case, before i release the new lightsaber i want to make sure it will work with the new aliexpress electronics, and mine didn't arrive yet, and i don't want to keep you waiting :)

After I know it works, I will see what I can do to upgrade old lightsaber models, just please keep in mind that's an insane amount of work, so old lightsabers will be updated gradually over the next few months so they are compatible with all types of electronics :)
