OK, in the sea of everyone doing the same thing, here is something new :) (and quite difficult) XD

Its the "BUILD YOUR OWN BLASTER" project :)

The idea arrived back when i made the lw896 blaster from jedi survivor

I mentioned i want to make the parts for the blasters in the game so you can 3d print them, and then build your own blaster as you see fit.

Not only build, but change the shapes, grip, barrels in real life just like in the game.

Now the planing and making the universal approach was quite a challenge, but i did make it, so i have built first 2 modular blasters (other will be made down the line). Sorry i didnt make more, but the planning on all of this was insanelly timeconsuming. Unlike the games, there are manny issues and "on the spot" solution i had to invent to make it work :)

Ok, so you 3d print a blaster , and any time you wish to change the design of your blaster, just remove a part and add a new one- like in the game :)

As mentioned there are 2 blasters with 3 parts each - how many possible combos are there ? Imagine how many there will be once we have 12 blasters :)

- ENFORCER

- LW 896

_____

BLASTER PARTS ARE SPLIT INTO 3 CATEGORIES:

TOP

MIDDLE

GRIP

The parts are fixed with 4x4 mm magnets, and the grip have a lock mechanism so it cant be separated by accident, and the top part has also a "hit/tilt" safety designed in,so the part will should not come loose if you hit it by accident

LW 896 - is changed - its a new one - the old design was not compatible with this build, it is also thicker than the old one, so we can archive the old one or call it the "stand alone version"

Lets print some modular blasters :)
