The Roman infantry armor is here :)

It all started quite a while ago, inspired by one of the AI generated images.

The Roman infantry helmet was quite popular and one of the most badass helmets out there if i may say so myself, so i'm proud to show you the roman infantry armor :)

There is no AI generated art to use on the armor design, so it's all fully created by me with no reference images in mind - i hope i did somewhat met your expectations, but that's how i envisioned the Roman infantry trooper

You can combine the armor with a military scarf or cape for some more badass looks, and I'm sure you will make it even more awesome. 

DESIGN BREAKDOWN:



The trooper doesn't have a jetpack but something I call "booster" . They are designed onto his back plate and shins, and they would allow the trooper fast, agile jumps, movements, dodge etc.

I designed a cutout for electronics for those parts ( led's or smoke -your choice ofc :) ) , and on the torso plate i've also made them slightly thicker ( yes, i listen to your requests :)  - many many of you asked for the plates to be thicker on our heavy armors so they have the heavy feel)



From the helmet over the shoulder, vambrace and hand plate there is a Roman inspired design that in my mind would fit our character. All the tech stuff our character would control on the suit would be done via helmets so there is no need for outer buttons/switches on the "gauntlets' ', so instead our character has the artsy vambrace that he uses as shield.

There are cutouts for leather straps so you can secure them around your arm.

The bicep shield is made from 3 separate pieces, so adding straps to that will allow you to secure it more nicely to your bicep/arm shape.


The chest piece is somewhat "customizable", at the center of the chest armor there is a chest plate slot. I added 1 of my designs and 1 blank so you can customize your chest plates. Those are used to tell the battalions apart, or clans or trooper units.


I plan to give our character quite a few weapons, so please kindly ask for a bit more patience on that. I'm working on weapons now , and they will be added soon as well :) ( most likely at the beginning of next month) ) :)
