Sorry for not checking in for a while, but let me show you what a build looks like that has enough time spent on it :)

I'm sure many of you were expecting this one, and it was just a matter of time , so here it is :)

Cal Kestis lightsaber from the Jedi survivor game.

The entire build is modular, meaning you can switch between parts with the screw on mechanism ( tested, its strong, very strong :) )

Why is that important ? well not only do you have 2 hilts featured here in this release, but it will also allow us to add modular parts to lightsaber builds down the line so you can easily switch between parts making your own lightsabers :)

But of course these lightsabers are functional - meaning they use real lightsaber electronics and "blade" so you can build your own functional lightsabers as with my older designs.

You can build 2 lightsabers in this release, so you can switch between one handed saber and staff mode if you choose to do so.

I also included a non functional version if you wish to print display pieces only

The second part of the build is something i also had fun with - the lightsaber display stand - i wanted it to be a bit special, so i designed the stand so the lightsaber hilts actually rest on 5 mm led's giving the illusion the lightsabers are held in mid air by some "light technology"

The build is rather simple, just use 5 mm leds, wires, and connect them to a battery, the stands are hollow on the bottom so you have room for battery

to recap, included are:

1 - Cal Kestis lightsaber - single handed ( jedi survivor) - functional and non functional
2 - Cal Kestis lightsaber - dual handed (jeid survivor) - functional and non functional
3 - single part LED stand
4 - 2 part LED stand
5 - single part non led stand
6 - 2 part non led stand

The stands can be combined to provide even more stand options.

Happy printing , i've allrady started printing mine :)

@mysterymakers are the m3 bolts and nuts just for aesthetic on the non-functional versions?

Marko Makaj

for the non functional print version use non funtional parts, there are no need for m3 bolts and nuts then as they dont have the cutouts for the buttons
