Roman Infantry helmet !!! (Patreon)

The long awaited Roman infantry Helmet is finally here :)  

We know its a hot item bcs admins in other groups are deleting the posts, sooo yeah :D  

Ok, this is a part of a full body project. It's quite an extensive project - i've been working only on this helmet for the past 5 days :D   

So lets start :   

The helmet is made as 1:1 scale for 3d printing, I used my own head 3d scan for size. The helmet has split parts so it can be printed on prusa size print beds which are pretty much standard :)   

The helmet is split by using 4x4 mm pins for assembly and a "slide in" for the face mask to the dome part of the helmet.   

Ears - both clean and with details are included in case you wish to add your own logo or something :)   Face mask - not only does it have quite some extensive details on the outside, 

I added some on the inside as well. It comes both without vizor and with vizor combined but I also included the "vizor" standalone as a template for cutting.   

The dome comes fully combined, as well split into 3 parts and is assembled with the 4x4 mm pin connectors. 

When printing the connectors make sure to use brim.   

Mohawk pieces are split, so you can use the printed one or find a real fur/feathers to use instead of the printed one. There is a 3 parts pre sliced option that prints without supports , but if you like you can split/print it differently.   

Well, i guess that's it, armor parts will be soon, and some other models as well, but just a heads up, given how insanely complex the armor will be, there might be a bit fewer models this month, as i can only do so much at once, but i hope you share my view of quality over quantity.
