Thing !!!! (Patreon)

Here and there I like to add something simple to print :)

Ofc as most of you know the show Wednesday has become quite popular. However, some of us were fans of the Addams family long before that :)

I have to admit I like the "thing" from Wednesday as it has a bit more "texture" to it. Its no longer just a random hand, so i wanted to take the chance to 3d model thing :D

The entire model can be printed WITHOUT any 3d supports !! I also wanted to give it sort of an illusion of it standing on its own as in the show, so when looking from the right side it would appear as if it's gonna tip over, however rest assured it is well balanced so it will not tip over :)

I've also gone into a bit more hassle to create stitches as seen in the show, not just random stitches we've seen in other 3d models out there. While working on it for screen accuracy, i've noticed there are few different versions of it in the show, so I went with one that was the most common.

I have also gone into a bit more detail to give it realistic or rather hyper realistic hand features so you will see details like skin, fingerprints, nail damages and so on.

I HOPE someone has a skin color resin to print this thing as it would be very cool to see with all that details in resin.

Since it's also Christmas time and Thing would be this naughty little creation, I had an idea in mine of Thing stealing Christmas decoration. TO see what that would look like i've also created an addition of Thing stealing the Christmasolorian bauble/ornament. If you  hang that one on the tree it will give an illusion of Thing hanging by the ornament.

Speaking of Christmas - what kind of ornaments, props or Christmas ideas would you like to see  ?
