Ok, finally some of the batt stuff for the "we are makers" tier :)

There is a new folder now in the patreon monthly projects called "The Batman".

yup i've been a bit busy over the weekend, and as always i couldn't help myself but to add some functionality to all of it :)

So i will release batman armor in parts, lets call this part 1, bcs there will be a lot in there :)

ok let's get started, what is included for now:

1- batarang or the tactical knife - i wanted to give it some functionality as we see in the movie, not just make it a pretty detail.

So it prints easy, assembly easy and has 9x2 mm magnets to connect to the chest as well 5x2 magnets as a second option to connect to itself when its unfolded (to be used as a knife)
I also added a little desk stand for it, and both for the chest piece, so not only do you have a functional Batman tactical knife, you also have 3 ways to display it that comes with it ( as a body armor, as a chest display piece and as a desk stand)

2 - chest piece - self explanatory - has the same 9x2 mm magnet slots for the batarang to insert and is compatible with the desk stand, and has belt strap cutouts included. There is "all combined" option as well one split into parts with flat edges that will allow you to print it easily.
For the assembled one I have included 3 "clamps' ' - those are basically 3 tools that will help you align the pieces together before gluing them. Front bit also acts to help in the alignment process.


3. torso armor plates - since the armor is basically covered in some sort of fabric, those plates will go underneath the fabric, they have chamfered edges so the transition with fabric over them would be smoother

4. to help scale the parts right i used my self as a reference - well a low quality 3d scan of myself with my large t shirt hanging all over the place, but nevermind, i needed the scale and got it :D

5- shoulder and bicep armor parts are being worked on. I was hoping to get them done by today, but once again bad calculation on my end, this took longer than expected.

6 - the "wayne" display pieces - you can use those to display the batarang alone or with chest piece included , i figured it would be a nice little touch for those who want to make a batman piece but don't feel like printing the entire armor, so i hope you will like it :)
