Saberstaff - functional (Patreon)

Another "functional" saber has joined the patreon :) 

This time the Darth maul's saberstaff. Its something i wnted to make for a while now, and as i mentioned i had quite allot of open projects, so im trying to finish them all up, so you can expect quite a few items rather soon :) 

Now what's diferent about this one ?  Well first you need 2 lightsaber core's and 2 blades if you decide to go with the staff version, but if you dont have that, no worries, i made several options for you :) so:

1- its "functional" - it uses the same lightsaber electronics/blade used in the Ronin saber, lighhtnarsil, lighthammer and so on .... ( electronics and hardware list included)

2. I added multiple options to the  build so now you can use it as a staff, as a single lightsaber ( i designed a "tail" for it in case you wish to use it as a single lightsaber) , and with the help of 5x10mm magnets in the middle you can also switch quickly between staff and single / dual handed lightsabers combo :) I also added a "clean/non functional" pieces as well if you dont plan to use electronics.

3. At first i wanted to use the buttons allready in the design but that appeared to be quite undoable for my "simple" idea of a 3d print, so i have basiclly hidden the lightsaber buttons (on/off/charging) at the back of the "hilt/staff"

4. The design is formed as if you are building "one side only" - meaning everything you print you have to do twice for both sides if you go with staff version :) 

Thats it for now, i'll go and take a look at all the Halo suggestions you posted and will figure something out. Might make another poll so we can choose our first Halo armor to be designed ;)
