Here it is, the bowcaster - now keep in mind im gonna call it "work in progress" untill we are sure the scale is right ... i will do some test prints as well, but whoever get to printing it, i would appreciate the feedback :)

Since its a nice huge weapon, i have created a small simple display stand for it as well.

Last photo in the post is the "work in progress" things - so things that im working on that are still open are described in the photo :)

Also, i will restructure patreon a bit in terms that after you hit 3 months mark, you will be able to get 1 old models of your choice each month - i wanna cut down the need to pay extra for older stuff, so i will work even more in that direction to be able to offer even more. I also do plan do start adding consitency awards for 6 and 12 month patreons - those will be models that will be available only when you hit 6 and 12 month as a patreon.

Web page is also being worked on, and my web developer tells me it should be ready within a month, so im very excited about that as well - its not gonna be just a shop, but i have quite some things planed with it :)

As some of you know i am finally a registered businss(3d modeling business), so im moving in the direction of making 3D my only "full time job" ... i was pilled up with paperwork this past week, and a job, so with me only doing 2-3 hours a day of 3D modeling right now, im sure you are excited as much as i am to see what i can do when i have 8-12 hours of time to work on 3d models . Hope we will find out soon, still have a few more months until my contract is over :)

Boba helmet is almost done - was microadjusting the shape quite a long time, but now its something i'm happy with. The general idea is to create a one stop model with this ( generic mando, jango, boba, deathwach).

Oh and someone told me he was very experienced with discord - not sure who it was anymore, sorry - could that person contact me - i'll be setting up a discord :)

Thats it for now and i'll get back to work :)

I'm getting around to finally printing this. I separated all of the pieces to different Bambu plates (16 of them!) and am nearly ready to print. I did see though that the barrel is too large for me to print on a Bambu or Prusa printer (468mm). Do you have a split version too somewhere? I could do it myself but wanted to check with you prior to taking it to the butcher. Also, I'm working on building it out to a full 3mf file with photos, guides and multiple plates. We'll see of the settings transfer too or not.

yeah, let me know once you have it ready, we can compare what gets transfered and not :)

Question, I’m putting this together this week and can’t find the notes about screw size for the bow pieces? I printed extra 8mm “plugs” when I printed the last project so I have those.

Marko Makaj

it should be m3x20 - the 8x8 pins are only for assembly - the screws areoptional but serve as extra safety when also gluing the bow parts in
