This is an important announcement concerning my Patreon Campaign. After just the first month of my monthly campaign, I realize I made a big mistake in its conception and its practice. Therefore I am going to be making some major alterations to the campaign. The first -and most important- change is I'm shifting from a monthly campaign into a "per creation" campaign. I realize this may seem like a scheme to make more money from pledges, but in reality it's because my workflow is so sparse most of the time, that I feel I don't produce enough work to warrant regular monthly pledges. In fact this past month alone had me focused solely on Patreon rewards and raffle prizes, as well as a delayed commission from the previous month. I have actually made no public commissions this month, nor have I had the time or energy for personal pieces. Second, I will be tweaking the monthly raffle a bit. Instead of multiple prizes of different styles, there will only be one prize. The rendering style of it will go up as pledge goals are met. So it will start as a Sketch raffle, then Simple shaded, etc... As for how many pieces I will make, I am not likely to make more than 5 per month. Sketches and sketch paintings won't count as creations, nor will paid commissions. As for the pledges, they won't go higher than $10. For now, at least. If I get settled with my workflow, and even get regular stream time, I may add a special pledge for guaranteed commission slots or something to that effect. This also means that the $20 and $80 pledge slots will no longer exist. I don't like taking away art from patrons, but this "guaranteed commission slot" model was a major reason in this change. I will switch over to the per month model immediately since the September month is almost over and I don't want patrons being charged for a monthly payment. I apologize for this sudden change, and for disrupting the convenience of regular pledges. I'm especially sorry to the new patrons who joined this month, as due to the new changes you may not receive a raffle prize just yet.

If you change the payment method now wouldn't that mean that for those paying the higher tiers currently would be charged $20-$80 per picture for this month? Meaning that for some of us we might have charges of over $200 for this month?

No. The per picture method only collects charges as I upload them. So In order to make a charge I would have to upload a new Creation, and in the upload menu there is an option to mark the creation as Paid/Unpaid. And if something does happen, and people are charged again this month, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO TELL ME. I will issue a refund as soon as possible if an extra charge is made.

Personally I prefer a monthly payment than per picture, with a monthly payment it will be more stable and you know how much is going each month. With pr picture it's possible to cap how much you are willing to pay in a month but I don't know how that will affect anything

I understand your concern. DO set those caps! I don't want anyone paying more than they feel is necessary! I appreciate your support, but I don't want to bleed you all dry! I stand by my statement of "5 per month". Even on a good week I don't think I've ever done more than 2 finished pieces in my Simple, Full, or Complete painting styles. With the Per picture model, patrons will be charged based on these completed pics, and since my workflow is so irregular and fairly sparse, I don't think a regular monthly payment is appropriate since I may have a slow month like I just did and people will still end up paying for a month's worth of content I haven't produced.
