BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! (Patreon)

There’ll be quite a few changes I’m going to be making to my Patreon in the upcoming month. Rest assured to all of you new folk,

 These changes will not be effective until May 25th!

These are all changes that are long-overdue, but I was hesitant to commit to them immediately as I didn’t want to make anyone feel shut out from my content, however, I feel it is important for these changes to finally be made so that I can not only be more transparent with what you all can expect from me going forward but also so that I can take the steps towards financial stability, all while creating the content I love to make for you all!

All that being said, If you are a current supporter and any of the changes make it difficult for you to support me going forward, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me, as I am more than willing to work with you in finding a way to honor your support in a way that is comfortable for the both of us!

I do not plan on “kicking anyone out of the discord” or “cutting off new art or stream access” to anyone that can’t afford their tier, these changes are meant to set the precedent for new patrons going forward, not exclude current patrons.

With all that being said, let’s get into what those changes actually are~!

Patreon Changes

• Comics will be the main focus of content funded & produced via this Patreon

- Weekly comic streams are going to be the main focus for behind-the-scenes content

- New polls will determine which projects will go into production, as well as story direction/ characters used/ etc.

• Patron-exclusive streams will take place on Discord instead of Picarto

- Voice chatting during streams will be a new, paid feature! (Text chat available to all with stream access)

- Removal of “Special Thanks” perk due to OBS stream layout becoming moot with Discord streams

• Drawings of The Month event is going away

- Idea suggestions will remain for higher tiers.

- Drawings are not guaranteed, but your ideas will be considered first!

Tier Changes

• $1 tier is becoming a tip jar tier, only granting you access to the general chats of the Discord server
  
• New $3 Nibble tier to act as “Behind the Scenes (Lite)”; includes access to wips & project scripts/ ideas
  
• $5 Snack tier to act as “Behind the Scenes (Basic)”; streams, early access to finished projects, voting poll access
  
• $10 Appetizer tier to act as “Behind the Scenes (Deluxe)”; voice privileges in stream calls, idea submission pool access
  
• $20 Main Course tier will continue to be an extra support tier

Weekly comic streams are here to stay! + New Patron voting privileges!

Comics are becoming the new focus of my Patreon, so weekly comic streams are going to be a big staple in the early access content I’ll be providing! Extra comic streams may even take place within the same week if a particular page takes me longer than one day to complete.

Additionally, with the end of each comic project, certain Patrons will now have the ability to vote on which comic idea they would like to see go into production next! This also goes for other crucial decisions, such as (but not limited to) story direction or characters used within comics. Your opinions will be heard!

Patron-exclusive streams are moving to Discord! + Voice chatting privileges

We tested it and you guys seemed to really like it! So going forward, any and all Patron-exclusive streams will now be hosted in the Patron-exclusive Discord server! For now, anyone who currently has access to these streams also has the ability to voice chat with me or whomever is also in call while we continue to beta test this, but after April 25th, voice chatting privileges will be locked behind a tier. This is to avoid the chaos of having too many people to moderate while also trying to converse with me as I attempt to get work done all at the same time. Text chat will remain available to anyone with private stream access, just as you had via picarto chat.

HOWEVER, one big thing to note with this change, is that due to the nature of Discord streams, my OBS stream layout will now be moot and thus the special thanks perk for higher tiers will now be removed. There isn’t an easy way to display these names in-stream, nor do I see myself streaming to the public on Picarto as often as I will be for you guys in the Discord, so for the sake of avoiding false promises, this will no longer be a feature.

The Drawings of The Month (DoTM) event is going away. + Idea submission pool!

I’m sure some of you have noticed by now that I haven’t done a DoTM event in a hot minute! This is because my focus has now turned to making weekly comic pages for you guys instead, which I think is safe to say is the bigger reason why the majority of you have recently subscribed to my Patreon. Comics are something that I am very passionate about, and having that much more artistic freedom with such projects is really what I’m striving to make a living off of. These comics will also allow me to further develop the characters of mine whom you already know and love, and can get to know in a fun, kinky way! As much as I loved hearing your guys’ ideas and bringing them to life every month, there is only so much I could do with those ideas in a single picture, as I’m sure the lot of you would agree that comics and sequences provide much more content to sink your teeth into. So for those reasons, DoTM will no longer be a “thing.”

Alternatively, certain tiers will gain access to an idea suggestion chat in the Discord to suggest ideas for ongoing and future comics, or even one-off drawing ideas for me to consider using. Please note that leaving a suggestion or idea does not guarantee a drawing or implementation of them into comics, but it DOES mean that I will be making an active effort to consider your guys’ ideas more so than anyone else’s!

Last, but most certainly not least- tier perks are changing!

As I mentioned at the beginning of this announcement, I am going to be upping the price of certain perks. Even Patreon themselves recommend setting your lowest tier to at least $3 USD, and mine is currently set to $1, most of which gets eaten up by taxes and fees! So in an effort to really make an attempt to achieve my goal of making a decent income off of this content, these are the changes I will be making to my tiers on April 25th!

• Weekly invitations to private comic livestreams
• Access to polls regarding upcoming project ideas

$10 Appetizer Tier: Behind the Scenes (Deluxe)!

• Talking privileges in weekly comic streams (hosted in the Discord!)
• Access to an idea submission pool where your ideas may be used in future projects

$20 Main Course Tier: Extra Support!

• A special place in my heart! For going above and beyond in supporting what I do.

That pretty much concludes all of the changes that will be going into effect on April 25th!
