My latest commission (Patreon)

Just wanted to share this with you all - I wanted a real softness to his hair so used the white pastelmat board and have used the white museum aquarell a lot to help smooth out. I did try using an embossing tool to begin with but I wasn’t careful enough (in the ears) and I lost a bit of the softness I was wanting. That’s something for me to practice! I also didn’t use the slice tool a lot either as I lost the softness again. I started using a white prisma in there too which was amazing!! I’d highly recommend using one to help smooth out. Lots of blues in his coat and the Derwent studio blue grey is amazing for this colour. I did use mostly the Derwent studios to be honest as they’re just so lovely and subtle 😍
