As I think of things, I'll post for you and tag with 'Tips'

Something I recommend you do all of the time is to always have something under your drawing hand to stop your hand touching the paper you're drawing on.

I use Clairfontaine Glassine Paper - I buy it in packs of 25 sheets which are approx 50x70cm from saa.co.uk If you use the pads of pastelmat, then each sheet has a glassine sheet over it, so you can use that.

You can use a cotton cloth, a piece of tracing paper, a piece of printer paper - anything that will just stop any of the oils in your hand transferring to the paper. Plus the glassine paper helps stop smudging :)

Also, when you're watching the video, you can change the quality by going to the settings cog button, choosing quality and choosing the HD option - this will give you a better viewing experience :)

for those in Canada, I purchased mine at ULINE <a href="https://www.uline.ca/BL_1973/Glassine-Paper?keywords=Glassine" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.uline.ca/BL_1973/Glassine-Paper?keywords=Glassine</a>
