No, it’s just a tease. I don’t know why people are OVERTHINKING Jiren so much. Literally it’s simple: Jiren is STILL stuck in the Pyramid of Power training. There is no illusion of him; he didn’t just “disappear.” The Eyes of Izuna also has nothing to do with Jiren; Vegito broke out of his trance.

You honestly wouldn’t really need the script to know. The idea of Jiren literally “taking” his horn while it is shown in the pages that he puts it back on doesn’t make sense.
