Perhaps, as the battle ends with vegito absorbing Madara, the third and second strongest show up at the same time. as vegito confronts them the sword of destruction is broken releasing Lucif... who just happens to be gogeta... with all of the same godkiller/buu/android makeup... and they take down zeno

I still don’t know why people think that it’s Lucif inside the sword. If this demon emperor was defeated and sealed by Guts, then obviously, it’s no big deal, meaning it can’t be Lucif. Lucif refers to Lucifer, who is one of the most powerful angel in heaven who rebelled against God. It’s a biblical reference for those who don’t get it. More than likely, Lucif is the Grand Priest’s brother which would be a parallel. It makes more sense than him being the demon emperor who got defeated by Guts of all people.

Notice how Guts also said “NO! For the sake of Zeno, I better stop him now” That would mean that this Lucif could literally pose a threat to Zeno himself. People don’t know how big of a deal Lucif actually is and just assume he’s someone who was defeated by Guts lmao

well maybe he wasn't defeated by guts, but someone else powerful weilded the sword to defea lucif at the same time, like the grand priest fought lucif with gut's sword and the omni king used a technique of some sort to trap lucif in gut's sword

Still, it doesn’t really seem plausible. If it was actually Lucif, then they would say “Lucif” instead of “Demon Emperor”. Guts literally shits himself just by the thought that Vegito could pose just as much of a threat as Lucif. Even the thought of Lucif terrifies him.

I don't wanna believe that lucif is in that sword but come on who is powerful enough to make vegito power up to his max and still not be able to break the sword let alone budge it? and another thing is if lucif was actually in that sword the weakest of the 5 wouldn't weild that sword so casually. It's either gonna be lucif or it's gonna be a random chatacter we've never seen.

It’s probably the sword itself that has some kind of magic to it bounding it. The demon emperor mentioned is probably some character we’ve never seen honestly. I wonder why Vegito hasn’t tried to absorb the energy from that sword though. It clearly has some kind of energy to it that makes it work the way it does.

I think vegito missed up when he use the candy beam on gotenks he should have just used a part of himself and tricks gotenks instead

No? That would be quite the stretch my guy. Guts’ sword only has a demon emperor in it, nothing else. Nothing was said about Lucif. And the demon emperor is not Lucif; you’d be assuming way too much if you think that it is.
