Whis has fallen into darkness like I figured he did since we saw him being an agent of Lucif. We definitely need an example of everything that has happen to whis over the time and learn why he side with Lucif to become a fallen angel. He is now demon and his tears is a sadness of regrets. Hey ARJ. I have a pretty big question that I’m hoping can be cleared up. How come we haven’t seen any of the demon emperors with the unique eye design that Vegeta had in his old demon form? At first I thought you would reveal it for the top 4 or 5 emperors in the demon realm but still nothing. Flame had the purple eye but he lacked that design. Light specifically called it a demon emperor eye when he first fought Vegeta.

I’m assuming it kinda became a forgotten concept since none of the emperors display that specific eye design that Light made note of. It was like a hexagon star.

Yeah in very next few minutes Merus says that form is a mix of not just the great demon but his destroyer training. That eye shape came from mixing lucif's power with a god of destruction form because of the shapes that appear on their body

I would love to get to know more about Makoto. From what I understood, he’s a Demon who escaped the Demon Realm and later became a God with Angelic abilities.

I have this strong feeling that Jiren is sector 2 Demon Emperor. It’s been forever since we saw him. Also, the time in the Demon Realm is much slower than in Mortal Realm. So maybe he found a way to get there immediately after he parted ways with Vegito after he was freed from Makoto’s control. I also think all the Vegitos that were Smited by Z were sent the Demon Realm, fused and now are one entity and is the new Devil.

The power scaling is all over one clone of goku could take down the 5 with no effort besides maybe dark would be some what of a challenge and the 5 passed the angels by a huge amount so unless lucif gave whis a good chunk of his power I don’t see their being a chance of him being able to land a finger on goku vegeta or gohan

Goku and vegeta I understand, but there is no possible way that gohan could even hold a candle to whis. Remember, it took vegito 10 years to be higher than the angels and that's with Divine training with mental training and the fact that they are fused makes the power gap even crazier, and gohan has never trained with a god or like goku and vegeta. Plus earth was destroyed several years before vegito was released, so there isn't much of a way for Gohan to catch up like that. Even with his new form, base goku is probably still stronger.

That actually would kill the pacing, main trio would need to go through a longer list plot events in a much more synchronized manner. Side cast enables you to progress the plot concurrently. You basically trade in writing complexity (disabling constraints really) for complexity in the nr of possible ways the story could progress (constraint that actually enables action).
