Sorry I never saw this comment until now, if there's any confusion still I'll reply just in case. You'll only ever need to apply the latest patch, because that patch will have anything needed from all the patches before it. When going to a full new version, you'll need to download the full game folder before applying new patches. You won't be able to patch from version 0.23.5 to 0.24.1, for example. You would need the full download for 0.24.0 first.
