Version 0.22 Released! (Patreon)

Well, I tried to get this release done in less than a month, and instead I ended up finishing it in exactly a month. That’s still better than usual though, so I’ll take it. I was unable to work for a couple of days, so I’m going to blame me missing my goal entirely on that. Maybe I’ll do better next time.

Word count is a bit over 13k, and is entirely focused on the fourth dungeon. There is a new enemy with the female cultist, you might have seen the first scene with her in the last version, but there’s now two additional scenes with her as well, and they play out while you are actually moving throughout the “Maze of Maidens” instead of just being all text. There’s also another one-off trap, and another trap that has six different scenes connected to it. That last trap is all based around the pseud-impregnation content I teased at with the dungeon’s intro and then completely forgot about in version 0.21. It also has a surprise guest appearance for one of them, I’ll let you guess as to who that is.

There’s also two new pieces of artwork that I forgot to actually add into the game. The first patch will properly add those in, and will be out in a few hours. The scene is the defeat scene with the Imp of the first dungeon.

I’ll try and release the new update in less than a month again, and maybe actually succeed this time. I have 3k words of content written again, so it should be theoretically possible. I think I’m going to have some slightly less involved dungeon content for the next section, as I want to do some more of the scenes that were suggested in the poll a while back, and I think they would fit better into a somewhat more generic roaming area than a set of timed jumps or narrow maze-like corridors. The update will also included some scenes based around a new cursed item I am currently creating, which should be fun.
