New Patreon Reward Ideas (Patreon)

I wanted to brainstorm some new ideas for rewards that could be offered on patreon, to encourage more people to pledge to current tiers, and maybe get some pledges for newer tiers as well. Currently, I make roughly 70% of what I need to cover basic costs of living in my area, before paying for artwork commissions, which is obviously not very sustainable. So, I either need to increase earnings for the page, or work a part time job in addition to working on this game. I currently work full time on the game, so having to work an additional job will inevitably reduce how much content I can pump out each month, which is obviously not ideal. I don’t really like talking about money like this, and I especially don’t want this to just be me begging for more support, so I’m hoping I can offer some new benefits to encourage more growth in this page instead. Currently, the page grows by around $30-$40 per month, and while I’m extremely grateful for everyone’s continued support, it’s just not enough for me to live off of, and at this rate it would be many months before it would get to that point.

So, shameless self-pity post aside, are there any ideas for benefits you think would add to the page? Maybe something another creator does that you think greatly adds to the value of pledging with them? Or, since this post is open to non-patrons, something I could offer that would make pledging to the page worth it for you?

I’ve got one idea for a new tier to offer, and I’d appreciate your opinions on it. The idea is to have an extra poll each month to vote for a new scene to be added to the game. Currently, the polls I offer each month are pretty much just what I’ve come up with at the time, and consist of all my own ideas. The idea for this is to take ideas provided from those in the new tier, and turn that list into a poll to vote on. The tier would be priced at $10, and every month you remain pledged at this tier, you can keep your suggested idea in the poll if it hasn’t won yet, or you can suggest a new one to replace it.

I’d put it in the description, but you would need to give me your scene idea before pledging, because even though the poll will be made up of fan suggestions, I still need to approve of them first. I won’t write content involving fetishes I have no interest in/am actively turned off by, because I don’t think I can write good scenes unless I’m actively interested in them. Additionally, scenes involving pre-existing characters that don’t mesh with the personality of said characters are also a no go. You can’t request for me to add a scene where Beatrice is a hardcore sadist who verbally and physically bullies you until you cry yourself to sleep, for example.

This tier would probably have a limit to the number of patrons, I’m thinking around ten, because if there’s too many people in the tier, it becomes inherently less valuable, as your chance of getting your scene in the game is reduced. Though, would anyone in that tier vote for any ideas beyond their own? I suppose that could be a problem. Perhaps two tiers, one letting you vote in the poll for a lower price, and another letting you vote and make suggestions to begin with? I’m not sure, which is why I’m posting the idea to begin with, I suppose. If I did add this idea, I would also have a public post listing the currently suggested ideas available, so you’d know what the options are before joining the tier and voting.

Other than a new tier entirely, I’ve a few ideas for benefits to add to the current $5 tier. The first would be a patreon exclusive cheat ability in-game. This would have things like the ability to freely modify body sizes, gain silver, change femininity and depravity, and adjust Katie’s dominance score. This would just be an add-on to the current $5 tier, as an extra incentive to pledge in that tier.

Another popular benefit is discord roles for backers, and private chat rooms for certain tiers. The idea of adding a discord channel for the game should probably be its own info post, but for now I’ll just slip in the discord roles as a benefit idea. The $1 tier would probably just have a special role in discord, while the $5 tiers and up would have their own private chat rooms.

Let me know what your thoughts are, I really enjoy working on the game like this, and I’d love to be able to continue to do so for the foreseeable future, so if there’s any extra benefits you’d like that would help me reach that goal, I’d be happy to try and add them in.
