Content

My main reason for this is that I think the older content can be a bit bland from a gameplay perspective, and while I plan to revamp them to be more interesting at some point, in the meantime I think having the ability to go straight to the second and third dungeons might hook more people into the game, as it shows off some of the things that can be done with RPG Maker for the game.

While it’s mainly for people who haven’t tried the game, or those who played the Twine version of the game and didn’t get far into the RPG Maker version, it could also be used if you lose a save file and don’t want to repeat content. Using it will make the player a high enough level to handle the monsters of that area, but just barely, so it’s not better than just getting their normally.

I can’t really think of a downside to adding it, but I figured I’d see what you all think before implementing something like that.

Yes, as long as it doesn't keep too much new content from appearing. But in case of wanting to go back and revisit something in the 1st dungeon, would it be like you already sealed it and the inhabitants were tame?

yes because i hate having to replay stuff every update just to get to whats new

I will be adding this feature since everyone seems positive towards it, but I'll add that you can port saves over between versions, all you need to do is copy and paste the entire save folder from the older version into the www folder of the new one and your old saves should appear.

It wouldn't really slow down new content, I don't think it will take much work to set up. For your other question, the answer is yes. However, having the inhabitants be tame can be switched on and off, and it won't set most of the events to have already happened within the dungeon, so I think it would be pretty much like going through it normally, other than the boss fight having already occurred. I could also add the option to skip straight to the first dungeon though, I didn't really consider it because I think the first few quests can be completed very quickly, but if you'd like that as well it wouldn't be hard to add.
