How would you rate the current in-game artwork? You can pick multiple options, but if you do rate both styles of artwork, please rate them based on how you feel they compare to other artwork done in the same style. For example, if you feel both styles are average but you prefer anime artwork, you should still vote for both styles as being average.  If you have specific feedback to give, feel free to comment on this poll or message me and let me know.

Some of the anime pics are good, but others not so much. The rendered ones are more consistent.

Thanks for letting me know, if anyone has any particular images they think are lower quality, let me know. I made this poll because I'd been hearing some negative feedback on some of the anime images, so I wanted to get more opinions so I can give better feedback for the artist in the future.

Honestly i kinda hope you pick one or the other... i feel like a focus on one art style is better? Meaning you can either put more focus in the game or produce more art? I do like the anime one personally more but i do not know about the rest of the people. I might be wrong tho but i guess thats the feeling i have right now >~<

So far, I generally spend a good deal of time working with the Ztrunkinvan on the rendered artwork, because with 3D renders making changes and tweaking things is a lot easier, and because Ztrunkinvan is very easy to communicate with, and then after that is complete I send the same info about the character to the anime artist including the render, and they make the anime version. Because they have that reference image of an already completed version of the character, there’s usually little extra communication needed other than some potential edits after I see the rough draft, so it doesn’t take much time at all to commission the anime version after the rendered one is already complete, so sticking to only one style wouldn’t actually speed things up much.
