It's done. I briefly considered delaying it until the heat death of the universe, but decided against it. I do not know what possessed me to believe that the update was "almost done" at the end of last month. I must have been overtaken by severe delusions. It's done now though! HOOOORAY.

The bad news, is that the update breaks saves. And this time, the "compatibility mode" is just me turning off the plugins, because there's no way to set them up to work with old saves. The good news, is that I've discovered a way that seems to work to port most of your data to a new save that will work with the plugins. Basically just copying the data from your old save to a newly created save. You'll lose out on your weapons, clothing, and level, but I've set it up so you can set your level to what it was before, and you'll be given compensation silver to rebuy most of your items. It also won't update saved data for switches for whatever reason, but I don't use those as much as variables, so it probably won't be a big deal? I can't really test this too thoroughly, so I'm relying on prayer instead. I've included a word doc and pdf guide on transferring your save data with this method, if you are having trouble and it's not working, you can also dm me whatever save file you would like to use and I can do it for you. (I will most likely respond faster if you message me on discord over patreon.) Please do try it yourself first though, if I end up with over a hundred requests I'm probably not going to be able to do all of them. I have also added the dungeon skip option to go straight to the 6th dungeon, if you don't care about your save file but do what to go straight to the new content.

As for the previously mentioned compatibility mode, it's basically just for if you want to enter the new recollection room with everything you've already unlocked, but you don't want to bother with transferring your save. I won't include it for the next update, because the plugin you're ignoring is what covers rooms and secret passages so you can't see inside them until you enter them, which is a crucial feature of this dungeon.

The update is about 20 000 words. Which is certainly part of why it took so long to finish. The other big thing is that unlike many past updates, the vast majority of the content is fully set up, without placeholder events. One is kind of a placeholder, but only because you are supposed to encounter a character for a second time significantly deeper into the dungeon, and there is only so much dungeon available right now, so instead you can just do the follow up scene right after. And another is a placeholder because I could feel my sanity slipping and I couldn't possibly bear to delay this update any longer to fully set it up.

So yeah, the update adds a considerable chunk to the sixth dungeon. Really, this update is the start of it, as it really wasn't set up very much previously, with 10 events being added in this update.

Additionally, there's also technically three CG sets added to this version. One of them is the Daisy CG set that was added as a bonus patch only for Patrons, and another is the not-so-great Cassandra CG set that I did myself. The third one is completely new, but you might not have seen the other one's if you didn't download any of the extra patches, so I thought I'd mention it.

I've also got a much more complete scene reviewer set up, which lets you review (almost) every scene in the game that has artwork. There were like three scenes that were a pain in the ass that I haven't gotten to, which are generally events where you are moving on the map and the scene is triggering in little bits occasionally.

I am certainly forgetting something. I just don't know what it is I'm forgetting, so I'm not going to worry about it! I'll edit this post with the full patch notes of all the new content later, but it's all in the sixth dungeon, if you just want to know where to find it. (The doors at the top of the first room go places now.)

Thanks for your considerable patience on this one. I am very glad to finally have finished it.

Full patch notes below:

Version 0.47.1

  • The dungeon skip function now lets you skip scenes with the Barkeep, Beatrice, Claire, Daisy, Daddy, and the alley boys™. It also provides some silver.

  • You can now fight or submit to Evelyn again after your initial encounter.

Version 0.47.0

  • The sixth dungeon, the church, now has a fully explorable area, with a large amount of events to discover.

  • Ann is still in the church, and seems to be mostly the same as usual. Other than increased lust, and the fact that her bodily fluids now heal you. Which is convenient, since you don't actually get any linking charges inside the church.

  • Upon entering the basement, a friendly sign beckons you to head east so you can be properly initiated. I cannot stop you from going there, even if it is obviously a trap laid by a large group of horny nuns.

  • Of course, the other two paths are blocked off with a magical barrier. Even getting close to them might draw unwanted attention from yet more nuns. (This scene was already in the game as a sort of pre-view, but it's been edited and implemented into the dungeon properly now.)

  • Considering the only unblocked path is to follow an open invitation into a trap, there must be a secret passage somewhere you can go through. Could it possibly be the hole in the wall labelled "boi-milking station"? Probably not, right?

  • Once past the barriers, you may stumble upon a classroom that contains a chalkboard with a past lesson still written on it, containing important information. Of course, the good stuff is written in a language you've never seen before, and trying to understand it might be more trouble than it's worth...

  • Eventually, you'll find a very cocky nun. Emphasis on cock. She's convinced you should lock yourself in chastity and devote yourself to worshipping her, and for some reason, that seems like an oddly good idea.

  • Of course, if you resist the urge to submit to her, even after she taunts you with her massive cock, you could always put her into chastity instead. See what happens to that cocky attitude of hers. Cock cock cock cock cock.

  • And there may or may not be a cosmic horror hidden in a box somewhere.

  • New CG sets with Daisy, Slimes from the first dungeon, and Cassandra have been added.

  • Additionally, the scene reviewer now includes (almost) all of the scenes with artwork in the game, which is a total of 43 scenes.

  • A total of 10 scenes added, 6 of which are lewd.

Total word count is 20 000
