I've been falling in and out of love with Karan Johar's fims. This one ADHM made me eventually dislike his melodramatic style, untill recent RRKPK which somehow make me again like his big Bollywood. But I didn't like ADHM, was for me an annoying & tiring film experience. I didn't even enjoy SRK's cameo and never went back to songs. Only thing I liked - film references. If you like it, you may go and try KANK😆 Another one which I really disliked - its melodramatic tonality in some parts and some soap opera style🤷‍♀️

I completely agree Aleksandra.. while i can understand how the film references made you laugh, coz probably that was the escape "so" needed in this otherwise problematic movie.. but i find it lazy film-making. He has been relying on dialogs from his old movies, or YRF snow sequences to tell his story. RRKPK had those tropes too but for me Ranveer Singh with actors who played Alia's parents made it worth it.
