Really thrilled to see they focused on Uday Chopra, It Always melts my heart seeing Uday, Absolutely adored him growing up, was and still am a huge fan of him, Mohabbatein is one movie I absolutely cherish, Even keep the Blu Ray, DVD and CD sealed as a tribute to the movie. In my eyes he was a good actor and very underrated but alot of his film choices didn't help him except for the Dhoom movies, Pretty happy to hear Aditya mention Mujhse Dosti Karoge, For me Mujhse Dosti Karoge with Uday and Hrithik is another one I adore even today 😊👍 You guys saw him in two music videos, One with Hrithik and Abhishek in the Dil Laga Na from Dhoom 2 song and also the Aankhen Khuli song with SRK and Helen 😊

The director mentioned in an interview that they convinced Aditya Chopra to give sound bites first and then to come on camera but that the footage would be owned by him for his archives. Later, when she was editing the series...she took a gamble and put in his footage as well hoping that seeing the final product including his portions would convince him that he was essential for a documentary on his father, him and the legacy of YRF. It paid off and he agreed!

The only gripe I have with this episode is that they didn't talk about Veer-Zaara. It is one of SRK's best films till date and Yash Chopra's finest film with him.

Ranveer was never considered a conventionally good-looking guy, especially in his initial years before all the makeovers that he’s gone through in the last 7-8 years. But surprisingly he did look super attractive while he acted and performed as Aditya Chopra righty mentioned. This was a pretty well-made docuseries that I watched back to back and finished the day it was released. Can’t wait for the last episode, guys. Bring it on already!

I only have 2 gripes with the series. Not talking about Veer Zara, and also not mentioning Lataji at all. Her voice comes up every 3 seconds yet they never talk about her. She is so linked to Yash Chopra legacy, especially considering he was one of the only people she agreed to sing for in the 90s/2000s.

Jyothsna

Agree...given how big a part music played in Yash Chopra's movies and he said that songs were the highlight of his films, it's disappointing that they didn't interview a single composer or singer for this and they didn't talk about music at all.

The only gripe I had with this is that they didn't show the story of Veer-Zaara, which imo is the best movie yrf ever made.

Ranveer without the beard is honestly not a conventionally good looking guy. If you see indian aspiring actors, they are really 10/10s in terms of looks. But they never really make it to movies. That's why hindi tv serial actors where there is no nepotism in terms of casting involved have the best looking men.

Mohabbatein is good for the songs and all the scenes between Big B and SRK

atleast buy a good camera or create a good setup, you are a million sub channel, not paying any attention, leaving in the middle of the reaction, looking in the phone.

great series with so many cool reveals and moments. esp. Ranveer and Bhumi's debuts

AJk21

Talent supercedes looks in films. TV has a lot of handsome but poor, untrained and mediocre actors

Jen

Agreed, that it could be the case for a few in the beginning of their careers. But there are thousands of them who have acted for years and are REALLYY worthy of being cast in films. Examples: Arjun Bijlani, Gurmeet, Karanvir Bohra and these are just the few I know. There is a lot of talent there, that remains unexplored. Another problem with the industry is that it is a 100x harder for a serial actor to transition to films, than a newcomer. There is a whole stigma surrounding it, that is hopefully getting better due to ott series
