Also ppl didn't like Befikre cuz it does not conform to the usual beats in romance movies like "love", and was more complex and more frivolous than that. I personally loved Befikre and think you guys will too. Similar to how people treated GEHRAIYAAN

I had a lot of fun with Student Of The Year. It's the last Karan Johar film I liked before Rocky Aur Rani. Rick might enjoy it if he doesn't expect elevated artistry and think of it more like High School Musical.

All the songs are good, and might be a good one-time watch. This is my least fav KJ directed film ever. I was in college when this came out but I remember people younger than me loved this. The girl in pink at 2:57 min in your video has Sana Saeed -- she played lil Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Of course it wasn’t made to win an Oscar.. not all films are meant to be that. the difference is that good films in this genre don’t have cringey acting and a mediocre plot. But that’s just my opinion and you’re free to like whatever you want 🤷‍♀️

C'mon! I don't think the acting was that cringy overall. It had Rishi Kapoor and "The Dad From Udaan". They did a stellar job.

They weren’t the problem. It’s the main 3 characters that were cringey for me and they make up the majority of the screen time and the other classmates that were there too were also cringe . You can like the movie but to me it’s not a good film
