Yay! So glad you are doing this! I was considering staying up for the midnight start time (I’m actually a night owl, so it wouldn’t have been too much of a stretch), but wasn’t feeling great yesterday. So that was a no go. Maybe I’ll be able to catch it live another time. Thank you for posting it here though! As for Ni-Ki, the kid left home, all by his lonesome, at 13 years of age (international) not knowing any Korean to chase a dream. He’s pretty serious about that dream in this show. Including understanding the ultimately goal is to debut the best group possible. Sometimes he makes “young” mistakes, but he’s really very mature in his overall thinking. He probably grows the most of anyone in the entire show though in terms how adjusting those “young” behaviors to understanding how to reach the ultimate goal he’s looking for in the first place. In regards to Taki, Taki is amazing at locking, but wasn’t as strong across multiple dance genres. Just needed a bit more training time. Which is all Ni-Ki meant. But Ni-Ki was looking for debut ready people. As for EJ and Daniel, first of all, that was a spoiler 🙄😂. But also, they are not best friends either. Just unit dance mates. EJ is like 8 years older than Daniel. And while EJs reason for voting Daniel is kind of lame (he really could have come up with a better reason), he wasn’t betraying a best friend. He wasn’t looking out for a young friend well though. Next, it’s actually ok at this point to become invested in the ones that don’t make it to Enhypen as we can tell you where a lot of them either have already debuted, what group they are about to debut with or what company we believe they are training with still that we think have plans for upcoming boy groups. So it’s all good 😁. Makes this really great to just enjoy and grow massively attached to the Enhypen guys. And last, I was literally laughing out loud throughout this because I know how it resolves itself by the end of the episode, but your angst was just perfect 😂. This show is actually nominated for an SK Emmy Award. They do a good job of drawing all the emotions out of you. And I always enjoy watching this with reactors because of that. Thanks again and see you next time!

I came here to watch Street Woman Fighter, but what a surprise. I'm staying here.

I missed watching episode 1 😔 live with you all. Will you post the day and time to watch episode 2 live and where will you post it? I hope it's not Sunday midnight. I'm in California so if your EST then I won't be able to make due to work the next day 😂. I did enjoy watching your reaction with the others after the fact.

Hi, new to your Patreon but looking forward to what I will find in here. By the way - you get much better subs if you watch I-land through Rakuten Viki and all banners and so on are also in English. I have watch it several times there and appreciate it a lot. You don't get the Korean subs either, or maybe you want them. Looking forward to the next episode

Elliott - I loved your reaction. Can't wait for the next episode. Yeah there is a lot of evil editing in the first few episodes. I hope you are able to find a better video. I also watched it on viki and enjoyed the subs. Thanks.

Thank you for this comment! I felt like the Ni-Ki segment was a bit fragile on some of the watchers because the show casted a negative light on Ni-Ki. Obviously, he is not a bad person. But at the same time its difficult, because I, as the viewer, wants to naturally digest the show as M-Net intended. The EJ and Daniel part was definitely a spoiler lmao. But i can't be angry because i know some people can't help it. Maybe I'll reiterate a no spoiler warning next stream haha So far I'm absolutely enjoying the show! The budget is dope! The editing is perfect! Theres so much talent, its hard knowing that not everyone was able to make it. My main concern however; I just don't want the watch party to feel the need to defend certain contestants before I finish watching everyone's story arcs and development.

Thank you for this comment! Viki was the first place I've tried to view Queendom last year, however, the Viki player doesn't allow the OBS program to record the screen. (it blacks it out). Similar to Netflix, HBO Max, and Hulu. Unfortunately, I have to download a 3rd party file and watch it through a media player 😓 Currently looking for a better file with better subs! It's just gonna take me a bit of research!

ElliottNewVillage

Glad you enjoyed it Laura! It's complicated for me, because I want to watch the show the way M-net intended, but at the same time, some of the watch party has already casted favorites so they feel the need to defend certain contestants when the show edits a negative light on them 😞 Like, I'm supposed to feel angry at certain contestants because the show was designed for me to feel that way, but the chat isn't letting me lol. Obviously, I know all the contestants are wonderful people, but the chat needs to let me live without spoiling their story arcs! haha Thanks for recommending Viki. Unfortunately my stream program doesn't let me screen the Viki player (the program intentionally blacks it out). I recorded a Queendom reaction using viki and I had to find out the hard way 😅

A few answers to your questions. There were originally 24 contestants when filming began. One contestant fell off the moving platforms and broke his arm and was edited out. That is why they came in 3s to start. The entrances were reshot for a few to make the editing out seamless.

Actually niki was only 14 at the time since his birthday is not till December and the show started in June of 2020 and he was born in 2005.
