Re: the editing you mentioned in the beginning- it's a very standard (mnet) thing to do, editing groups/idols' reactions and words to try and present a certain atmosphere for that ~drama~ factor.. if you know what to look for, you'll notice some people seem a bit more arrogant/awkward/bored and that's all deliberate... doesn't help that girls tend to have that stereotype of being kind of two-faced and catty so regardless of whether or not that's true, they're going to be edited like that when there's an opportunity to create drama

That’s hella true lol. I think overall it was a shock since RTK very rarely had moments that escalated “drama” between idols. (Which I think was due to the fact that they were guys and like you said, girls have the stereotype of being dramatic)

It’s hard to not notice g-idle. The structure of their performance seems more tailored for dance competitions which I really like. Also ima huge fan of Soyeon and how competitive she can get lol

To answer your question about the budget being really low. This is one of the few times taht Girl groups got to do a competition show. It's usually reserved for boy groups... so the girls got a show... but the budget was pretty meh.
