Love y'all and love seeing the growth of the brand, but the take on this one was off. Will was the one that was completely out of line. 1. Chris was a comedian making an attempt at making a joke. That seems like something you guys should have empathized with the most. It wasn't funny, true, but it was an attempt. And it certainly doesn't justify the response from him. And where exactly does that stop? Can someone walk on stage at Keep Your Distance and put hands on a comedian if they're offended? Definitely not, and same here. 2. Will defending Jada does seem to be about Jada, it was about Will. That slap was for the last 5 years of jokes. Keep it real, he knew who he could do it to. If anyone else was on that stage (a woman, white man, bigger man, etc.) was on that stage I can guarantee he wouldn't have done it. If you're defending her honor you'd do it no matter who it was. 3. Angels point about it not being that big of a deal is completely off -- it's the ONLY thing anyone's talking about from the event. Not 3 great female hosts for the first time, not Quest/Sam Jack receiving their first Oscars, but this. 4. Will's disrespect was loud but his apology to Chris was quiet. He embarrassed him on a global scale, then wrote an IG post of an apology. 5. The entire phrasing of the pod was about how Chris's joke affected the Smiths, but not about the criminal act they perpetrated on Chris. It's an award show, they're going to be jokes. And honestly there's no guarantee that Chris even wrote that joke -- many of these award shows have writers. Always going to support KOS and TCA but this was rough to listen to.

Jada ain’t no special than anyone else at that event. This show is hosted by comedians who roast and poke fun for a reason. That is the assignment. So now Chris and I guess everyone else needs to read Will’s book prior to being around him. GTFOH Will ON CAMERA was laughing at the joke. Jada ON CAMERA too was laughing then she got serious after she saw Will laugh…..so let’s not play games here. Lastly, if you wanna check him them check him. But do it like a man behind stage. The reality: If that wouldn’t been anyone who physically could match or beat Will, OR A NON BLACK MAN, he would’ve done it; and I propose that Jada would’ve laughed it off and dealt with “healing” from it out of the public eye. But again, all they business is out in the public eye so it’s fair game.
