For Lady Penelope Genevieve Philpott, gifted Sovereign Lady of the Imperial bloodline and Associate Researcher at the Sovereign Ministry of Science and Technology, time away from work is a rarity. Caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of Sovereign Capitol City, Lady Penelope is one of a handful of gifted Sovereign ladies who live, work, and use their considerable physical and mental attributes in service of the Sovereign Empire. So, when the opportunity to spend a few days in the country presents itself, she takes it.

Packing a bag and loading up her monowheel, Lady Penelope motors out of Sovereign Capitol City for a quick holiday. On her way through the countryside, her monowheel breaks down, leaving her stranded in the middle of nowhere. Hours away from her vacation spot and unable to repair her conveyance, Lady Penelope sets off on foot, hoping to find a ride along the way.

Rest and relaxation are typically what people expect from a holiday. But, for Lady Penelope, her holiday will be anything but typical.
