Quick update on Adeline (Patreon)

Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well.

So, I was supposed to release the first 60 pages of the comic today. The images are all done, I'm only stuck with writing the story for it. It's been going really slow for me though because I'm having a hard time focusing.

I've actually been on schedule to finish the whole comic before the end of the month since I started early, but as the war in Ukraine loomed closer, I became more and more obsessed with it. I usually don't like talking about my private life, but I've experienced war myself and I've been a refugee too, and even though I'm safe nowadays, anxiety has really been spiking recently everytime I see what's happening over there. And I still keep checking all the time for news... meanwhile my workrate has plummeted.

So when I came around to doing the 2nd part of the comic, which is on a different setting (blonde Adeline again), I've tried a few things, but it's just not good enough and I've started over again. The last few days have been better and I've picked up the pace quite a bit.

Didn't want to leave you guys without anything at all and wanted to post at least the first 60 pages today, but focusing on writing has proven to be much harder than doing the renders. I think I'll probably need tomorrow too, then release part 1 on Sunday.

And part 2 hopefully at the end of next week.

Sorry again, I really didn't want to delay this month too, but anxiety and creativity don't seem to mix well. And hopefully that war ends as soon as possible.
