If you want to follow the process better, just turn down the speed of the video and follow every little step. Anyone can mod and it doesn't take much to make such works.
3D programs:
- 3D's Max (costs)
- Blender (free)
Texture programs:
- Photoshop (costs)
- GIMP (free)
Hair making 3D Max:
1. import hair from a game
2. convert the single parts of the hair into a mesh [Skin] (Scripting-> run script)
3. import head (remove bones and wide parts)
4. customize hair on head (Skin, Editable Poly, Vertex... [Soft Selections])
5. import hair from textools (best 118, 119, 162 for long hair.
long hair. For ponytail 115 or 132. twin braids 103 or 107 or at AuRa Hair 2)
6.skin warp hair from vanilla click fallof set 0 and what is below
also zero and chop in and press on the button)
7. name hair mesh like the vanilla , then delete vanilla hair
and then move it into the null group
8. script resetXform
9. weights ->
open skin
Envelope
paint weights or Weight Tool
export -> (import textures) ->Test IG

- clone mesh -> copy> name 0.1
- Turn to mesh - under skin -> colaps to -> Surfface Properties -> flip
- ctrl+A
- turn to poly -> under skin
colaps to -> elements -> edit elements -> flip

11. black shiny hair -> only for hair mashups

- unifybrek to ... from
- break
- unifybrek to ... on

Use Normal map & Multi map textures
- Options -> Hide Backfaces!
- Hair import
click on the 4 boxes:
- Clone UV1 to UV2
- Clear UV2
- Clear Vertex Color
- Clear Vertex Alpha
