After building the cage last time, I was struggling if I should use APS-C cameras for VR shooting because there aren't too much option for lens and this camera is not designed for heavy video shooting job, but like I said last time, I have one X-T3 already, the cheapest way for me to build a professional VR cameras is to buy another FUJI X-T series, tbh, using this model to build VR camera is not professional, but I bought it anyway..

Actually there are more than 10 fisheye lens with full circular image built for APSC cameras, but they are either too old (image not sharp enough) or too expensive(The fisheye lens specially build for VR from Entaniya cost more than$3000). So the only real options for me is Opteka / Meike / Venus Optics and I bought the Venus Optics one because the other 2 is impossible to find in the physical stores (I need to try it first).

Anyway, I took some photos and videos with this lens and the camera lent by the staff,

then bought one first after checking the video at home. But when I mounted it on my camera and turn on the movie mode with 4K60p, I then realized that I forgot there is a sensor crop when shooting 4K60p, it means the footage is not a full circular image because the top and bottom of the video are cropped.

Luckily, this lens can capture 210 degree video, maybe I can still use it for VR shooting, or maybe not, need to test it more. Unluckily, fisheye lens is hard to sell unless you sell it cheap.
