There's a debate in comics about whether it's okay to copy-paste elements.  I've seen some some people take duplication to extremes that are just distracting (having a crowd of people dancing in the background that stays motionless across multiple panels, that sort of thing) but if I'm doing a series of panels like this one that are all from the same angle with the same rough layout, I'll happily duplicate the base, copy it over for all four panels, and customize it from there. Since I have trouble drawing anything with that much consistency, it actually makes the finished product come out better. I always do the final inks individually, though, because it's as a reader it's distracting to me if I see exactly the same lines across panels (even though most people probably won't notice.)

Clearly the decision here is a matter of common sense which can, perhaps, be overridden in favor of style sometimes. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just throwing shade.
