This is fantastic. You really got the feel of the old books and at the same time got the eating and weight jokes to tie in organically. If feels like we really are reading an old Nancy Drew that just happens to have a lot of relevant fun for our folk, and thats exactly the sort of stories I've been hoping to see but never do.

The setup for this is actually really good? I mean, what Nancy is doing actually does sound like the sort of counter intuitive punishment people thought worked back then. Also, how many parts is this going to have?

Absolutely love this. The language and metaphors are really vivid and original, and the narrative flows wonderfully (it'd be a compelling read even without the chubby stuff!). But best of all the characters. You have a real genius for conversations and character combos: their personalities and interactions are so authentic and great fun. Superb work yet again!
