Why the Sky is Far Away (Patreon)

This is from an African folktale (a real one) about how the sky used to be close to the ground and people tore off hunks and ate it.  They threw away a lot, and the sky got mad and said it would leave if people wasted any more.  Everything's fine until one especially gluttonous woman took way more than she could eat and the whole village gorged themselves trying to finish it, but no dice.  True to its word, the sky got all pissed off and left, and that's why it's far away now!
