 I'm sorry, but I have to tell you bad news.

After several months of the mod’s existence, despite the purchased licenses and the previously obtained permission, DAZ reviewed the situation and decided that even the terms of their Interactive licenses do not give us the right to post this mod in the public domain.

Moreover, DAZ licensing agreements in principle do not apply to Skyrim mods.

The reason, according to DAZ, is that their content (textures and models) can be easily extracted from any mod.

In this regard, we are obliged to remove our mod at the request of DAZ from open access.

For our part, we acted in accordance with all the rules for the redistribution of content and absolutely did not expect such a turn of events.We apologize for what happened, but unfortunately we can not do anything about it. We respect the rules no matter how strange they seem to us.

We express our deep appreciation to you and the entire site team for the support, kind words and appreciation of our work.

Your conversions though can be extracted, is only useful within Skyrim. This is basically what the interactive license was designed for. Furthermore, your mod creates awareness of DAZ and could broaden its commercial appeals as it attracts more people into learning DAZ. There are people putting DAZ ported assets for Skyrim behind paywall for years with DAZ turning a blind eye in the name of "private" modding. I am very sorry for your wasted efforts and the community's loss of potential great mods but I am more mad at DAZ for crashing people who are trying to the right thing.

After some thought I think DAZ has a point. The issue is not that the DAZ contents can be extracted from any mod but that the mod contributes to the commercial appeal of Skyrim. The COR team does not benefit financially from using DAZ assets but Bethesda indirectly does, and commercial entities like Bethesda need to be covered under different licenses. It sucks for us players but if I were their lawyer I wouldn't allow it either.

so damn sad and unlucky, i hope we still get a chance to see this mod again. I LOVE IT! and i also trying to pledge. i always hated this lowpoly head and finally we got a solution and a Team stands behind this mod, the more I think about it, the sadder it makes me. hope u guys continue the work on skyrim.

oh and im not nearly good at these things, but cant we just swap the DAz models out? i know it sounds to simple, like i mentioned before i dont understand much about it. BUT i would pay and support for a redo

Nevertheless, we decided to continue working on the mod, but only in the mode "for personal use only". I suppose you understand what I mean :) It will not have any official releases, but work on the development of the project continues. At the moment, we are finishing the package of our textures for female characters without using DAZ content. But with the model and sliders, everything is much more complicated. Hopefully sooner or later we will be able to get rid of protected content.

Hey, if i paid 5 or more dollars for the mod, could you send it to me? Really want to try this mod. Looked forward to it and found out it was gone. Really sad stuff. Would it be ok? Please! Saw Mxrmods video and it looks really good!
