Gallagher Mansion Report 07/19/2023 (Patreon)

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's a short update this week because we've been taking care of a lot of administrative things behind the scenes, but we do have a quick update for The Groom of Gallagher Mansion!

Version 0.35 is now Live!

Changelog:

• More lines for Taylor have been added
• Majority of Elias' voice lines have been implemented
• Minor changes or additions to narration and Y/N's dialogue
• Scenes scripted up to the cake choice, besides the scene investigating Elias' bedroom

As usual, all Patrons pledging $5/mo or more can grab a copy of the new builds through this link to the Patreon Test page. Various music cues have not been added quite yet, so please disregard any unfitting choices of music in certain scenes. Please note that the flashback in the dining room is currently a WIP, as you'll read below.

Animations?

A lot of time spend on this update was trying to nail down some animations to bring the game to life. Though, with all things, some of them can be hit or miss...

Animations can accentuate a scene or absolutely ruin them; I'm sure some of you will burst out laughing at the above .gif even if I tell you that I worked very hard on it 😔 We'd appreciate your feedback on the existing animations in the demo to see if we ought to refine them or cut them out entirely.

Around the Studio

We mentioned those miscellaneous admin things, so here's a quick list of things we did or are in the process of discussing:

• The SnaccPop Toyhou.se account is live now! Many thanks for Johan and Toby for setting this up
• Nick's second audio drama, Show 'Em A Good Time, dropped on Monday
• We updated some of the descriptions for our Shark Robot catalogue. More merchandise items are on their way for August!
• We're setting up more Voice Over nights on our Discord server with more of your favorite VAs and training them so you can donate for lines from more characters!

Interested in joining the Discord server? Be sure to do the following steps:

1. Read the rules thoroughly so we can maintain a welcoming environment for everyone!

2. Assign yourself the Rule Reader role!

3. Message a member of the moderation team with all of the following information:

• a valid photo ID with all information besides photo, Date of Birth, and ID Expiration Date censored
• a clear photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with your Discord name and 4-digit number, and today’s date for comparison with the photo ID
• your Snaccpop Patreon receipt
