GAMES? ASMR? COMICS? OH MY~! SnaccPop 2023 - New Branding, New Mascot, New Content and Goals (Patreon)

2023 is upon us now, and as time this year grows short I (Sauce) have taken time to reflect on all that has occurred.

From the failed AphroDesia KickStarter, to the successful Sunny Day Jack one, I believe I’ve learned a lot. And in 2023, I’ve made the decision to turn SnaccPop towards content curation, and away from individual marketing.

Before, SnaccPop was a canvas which people could support if they liked what they saw. But we would fun large projects and fans would sit around waiting for them for months with little to no active content to entertain them.

In 2023, with the experimental help of Project Ensō and other creative contributors/business counsel, we’d like to begin pushing SnaccPop in a new direction which will satisfy patrons in the long and short term.

New Branding and Mascot!

Meet Prince Blossom! SnaccPop’s new mascot character, representing our drive to inflate and grow the male fan service character market. We have found our stride providing masculine figures and intriguing male-centric content to our audience. And we’d like to assure our fan base that we plan to stay the course and continue to provide in this aspect. We’d also love to grow Prince Blossom as a character, with future audio and visual works!

New and Improved Tiers

We received tons of complaints and confusion-filled messages from patrons over the months, unsure of why they can’t see certain content. Now there’s no need to fuss! All new tiers have access to every brand of content now. Current patrons can keep their tiers, but we recommend moving now to receive even more content! Future updates will be supported for as far as we can see, but why would you want to hang around on tiers only capable of seeing 1/2 or less content than a tier of the same price?

Additionally, sexy pin-ups, YCH art, and even (planned) ASMR audio content with your favorite characters is on the table now too! Game content as well, with Patreon exclusive access to BETA copies, exclusive copies, and final copies with in-game credits. We estimate these mini-games (1-2 hours long) will take 1-3 months at our current Patreon size and will be available for sale at around the $2.99-$4.99 price range a piece after a period of Patreon exclusivity.

More Dating Sims!

Recently we announced Project Ensō was going to be taking over a portion of the Patreon haul to begin independently building the infrastructure of future dating sims. We will focus on the creative portions and they will build the games, find the programmers/musicians/etc.., and post the updates. This is still in the works as Project Ensō would command a heavy fee to take this full-time. (BáiYù would need the life stability to manage such a feat.) But January will be a test month in which we continue developing The Groom of Gallagher Mansion.

If this is successful and you all enjoy it, we hope to produce more mini-content while the SDJ team focuses on that game specifically. Goodbye, stagnant void of infrequent updates. Hello x2 the manpower, x2 the output!

We have tons of ideas too! Including (but not limited to):

• “Meanwhile, In The Final Boss’ Dungeon” - A dating sim between you, the sovereign in distress, held captive by a particularly captivating villain!
• “DachaBo - Barks and Mews!” - An expanded DachaBo dating sim! No need to pick between a pesky puppy and a picky pink feline. After winning an online auction you receive both with a very explicit warning— DO NOT PLUG IN TO YOUR COMPUTER!
• “ClownHeart Academia” - Clown College is real, and filled with single, hot clowns in your area! But which among all the rainbow colored suitors to choose?
• “AphroDesia” - With expanded resources, we may re-examine the potential of a cherub and mafia themed dating sim! Details TBD!
• “Anvil Crossing” - Traverse a 1940s Hollywood, arm-in-arm with the cartoon elite and being wooed by the most eligible cartoon bachelor in town!

And maybe even more! Magical boys, aliens, cowboys and more are all on the table with voting polls to decide what content you’d all like to see next as we go!

None of these details are set in stone and we continue to hold the cautionary notion that all this could dry up any day. But we will do our best to work with what we’ve got.

Expect more details and announcements in the coming days- Including the revamping of the SnaccPop Twitter, changing around of certain Patreon settings, and more. It’ll be touch and go for now and the changes won’t be concrete and settled until January. But we’re preparing them all now behind the scenes and wanted you to know!
